Kids Kastle Learning and Activity Center
Ashley Pedraza, Owner/Director
My name is Ashley Pedraza, and I am the proud owner of Kids Kastle. I am a mother of three beautiful little girls, a middle sister, an aunt to two adorable nieces and a nephew, a wife to Mr. Antonio, and a teacher to all of our precious children enrolled at Kids Kastle. Although I have a full time staff, I have the benefit of working with all age groups at various times throughout the day.
I first began my journey in the wonderful world of early education as a child in my mother’s home daycare. She was a 5th grade teacher, who adored children. I loved being her big helper, and playing “school” with the children that were enrolled. Even though I was only 9 years old, I dreamt of the day that I could grow up and be just like my mom. It was during my senior year of high school that I decided to start my own daycare at home. I began caring for children of all ages, twenty four hours a day. With great success and popular demand for my services, I expanded my business to Kids Kastle. My dream came true June 5th, 2006.
Since that fifth day of June, my life has changed forever. I have dedicated the last 12 years of my life to building a successful daycare business. I have faced and overcome some major obstacles, met some amazing children, formed new friendships, and learned a lot about myself and the daycare business.
I take great pride in operating a daycare with a very personable staff. I want every parent to know that their child is special in our program, and that they can trust us to provide the love and quality care for their children while they are away. We make every effort to meet the needs of every family and each individual child within our program.
I am very proud of the center that we have developed, and hope that you will be too. All though my mother is not here to share the wonderful experience with me today, I know that she is with us every step of the way!
Hi, my name is Antonio Pedraza, I have been owner/operator at Kids Kastle since 2006. I am originally from Jocotitlan, Mexico. I moved to America in 2001, and have since established my family as well as our family owned commercial daycare learning center!
At Kid’s Kastle, I primarily work with the school age children (Kindergarten and up) as well as before and after care. I strive to provide a fun, educational, and safe environment for every child. My students and I typically spend our day with a mixture of outdoor play, daily lesson, Spanish lesson, Zumba, blocks, dramatic play, science centers, math, computer activities, and most importantly time to complete elementary school homework. During the summer we also do summer camp, sports (soccer and volleyball) lessons, splash days, and ice cream Fridays as an addition to our exciting curriculum.
As a husband, and father of three daughters, I have grown attached to all of my students as if they were family! I could not imagine my life with any other career path! I look forward to working with your child(ren) too as they join our ever growing family here at Kids Kastle!
Miss Courtney, Pre-K Teacher
My name is Courtney, I am the preschool teacher at Kids Kastle. I also have the privilege of working with the other children as well. I'm 22, and the mother to the most beautiful , blessing I could ask for my little Princess Kylee and baby boy Kolton! In the preschool room I will teach your child the basics she or he will need to venture off to kindergarten. We have a scheduled day that starts off with lesson plans, stations, dramatic play, and then circle time , followed by lunch. There's nothing I love more than to see a child learn and grow that is why I have loved Kids Kastle and have been apart of the crew for going on 4 years now. I hope to meet you and your children. I am currently attending St. Louis Community College to earn my Associates of Early Childhood Degree. I love sharing everything I learn in my classroom!
My name is Sheila. I have always loved children even before I had my own. I spent many hours volunteering at the Shriners Hospital with sick children. I first met the Pedraza Family in 2005 when my little boy was only in Kindergarten and I needed childcare. He is now 20 years old! Ashley helped me raise my son like a second mom. Working in retail for so many years, being a single mom was never easy, but Ashley and her family helped make it all possible. All these years later, I feel blessed to be apart of the daycare family and love my job taking care of all of the children. They are all so special and unique and I love watching them grow everyday.
My name is Julie. I have been working at Kid's Kastle for about a year. I particularly love working with the infants. I have worked in early childcare my whole life in some Head Start Programs as well as other childcare centers. I have two of my own children 19 and 21 years old! Time Flies! I look forward to meeting you and taking care of your little ones while you are away!

My name is Haley, I'm 25, married, and currently attending graduate school for a Master's Degree. I have worked with children in professional settings and I have also volunteered in childcare settings since I was 16. I love working with children and always strive to help them grow and learn. I find working with children is one of the most rewarding jobs because they are so full of energy, honesty, creativity, and resilience. They teach me as much as I teach them! Each child is unique and special, so I am incredibly happy to be apart of their learning experience and watch them grow!
